128-11 May 31, 2011 RESOLUTION 2011 Contract for the Food & Beverage Concession Stand at the Ginny Duenkel Municipal Pool WHEREAS , the Township of West Orange has a Food & Beverage Concession Stand located at the Ginny Duenkel Municipal Pool which has been made available for a private business to rent and operate during the summer season; and WHEREAS , the Township of West Orange did advertise and receive bids for the Pool Concession Stand in 2009 and Bagelwich Bagel Bakery, 658 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, New Jersey as the most responsible and responsive bidder; and WHEREAS , the Bagelwich Bagel Bakery has satisfactorily performed their services and complied with financial agreements during the last two summer seasons; and WHEREAS, contracted prices for menu items and rental fees have not no changed; and WHEREAS , the Township will renew the contract for the 2011 summer season pursuant with the Local Public Contracts Law 40A:11-15(10) which states the providing of food services for any term cannot exceed three years. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Municipal Council of the Township of West Orange that the 2011 seasonal contract for the operation of the Food & Concession Stand at the Ginny Duenkel Pool located in the Township of West Orange shall remain with: Bagelwich Bagel Bakery to pay the Township $8,751.51. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payments will be received by the Chief Financial Officer in accordance to the bid specifications. ___________________________ ______________________________ Karen J.
