129-11 May 31, 2011 RESOLUTION 2011 Contract for Auto Body Repair WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange wants to extend its present contract pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15 for Auto Body Repairs to A. Lembo Car & Truck Collision, Inc., and WHEREAS, this vendor was awarded in June 2010 a 12 month service contract through the bidding process pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1; and WHEREAS, A. Lembo Car & Truck Collision, Inc. has agreed to maintain it present rates for goods and services stipulated in original bid specification; and WHEREAS, the Department of Public is satisfied with the vendors performance and cost and recommends this contract as responsive and responsible. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Municipal Council of the Township of West Orange that the Auto Body Repair Contract for 2011 be awarded as follows: A. Lembo Car & Collision Inc., 76 Riverside Avenue, Newark, NJ 07104 Automobiles, Light Trucks & Vans hourly rate for repair of body & fender, Frame, mechanical & paint @ $15.00 per hour and for medium trucks & buses @ $20.00 per hour. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Department be and is hereby authorized to issue a Purchase Order for the foregoing, same to be executed by the Purchasing Agent on behalf of the Township of West Orange with funds approved by the Chief Financial Officer.
