136-11 June 14, 2011 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange Recreation Department has various items such as crafts and games that were formerly used for the Summer Park Children’s Program and is no longer needed; and WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club of West Orange which is a division of the West Orange Community has served our Township since the year 1911 and offers various affordable children’s programs to the West Orange Community and can utilize these items; and WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent has estimated the value of these items as nominal and pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 36(6) the Township can sell such property through a private sale without advertising. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, ESSEX COUNTY NEW JERSEY, that in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-36(6) that the list of items attached as schedule A, be sold to the West Orange Community House for the amount of $1.00 (one dollar).
