137-11 June 14, 2011 AMENDING RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on May 17, 2011, this Council adopted Resolution No. 119-11 refunding the sum of $10,074.50 in overpaid 2010 real property taxes to James K. & Beth A. Greenberg, 9 Elm Court Way (Block 101.02, Lot 4); and WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of Resolution No. 119-11, the Tax Collection determined that the correct refund of overpaid real property taxes to Mr. * Mrs. Greenberg should have been $11,074.50; and WHEREAS, this Council wishes to amend Resolution No. 119-11 to authorize a refund of $11,074.50; and WHEREAS, legal counsel has advised that such an Amending Resolution is legal and proper. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that: 1. Resolution No. 119-11, adopted May 17, 2011, be it is hereby amended as aforesaid to authorize a refund of $11,074.50 in overpaid 2010 real property taxes to James K. & Beth A. Greenberg, 9 Elm Court Way (Block 101.02, Lot 4). 2. The Tax Collector and Tax Assessor be and they are hereby authorized to adjust their records accordingly. Karen J. Carnevale Sal M.
