1 Public Meeting – January 5, 2016 - Continuation of December 15, 2015 Public Meeting The Township Council of the Township of West Orange met in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, and 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey at 7:00 p.m. Karen J. Carnevale, Municipal Clerk, read the following statement: This is to inform the general public that this meeting is being held in compliance with Section 5 of the Open Public Meetings Act, Public Law, 1975. A notice of this meeting was mailed to the Star Ledger and the West Orange Chronicle on October 14, 2015. Roll Call: Present: Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Guarino, Councilman Krakoviak, Councilwoman McCartney and Council President Cirilo Council President Cirilo asked for a motion to return to the recessed meeting of December 15, 2015. On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino the motion was carried. All members voting “Aye.” *Review of Consent Agenda *Resolution(s) adopted on Consent Agenda: a. 293-15 Resolution Authorizing the Chief Financial Officer to Cancel 2015 Current Fund Budget and other Appropriations at Year End (Gross) This resolution authorizes the CFO to cancel 2015 budget and other appropriations at year end with the intention of maximizing our year end surplus balance. b. 294-15 Resolution Authorizing Transfers Between Budget Appropriations (Gross) c. 295-15 Resolution canceling Resolution 34-15, a Resolution Authorizing Emergency Temporary Appropriation for the Purpose of Funding Eminent Tax Appeals Prior to Adoption of 2015 Budget-NJSA40A:4-20 (Gross) On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Councilman Guarino, the consent agenda was approved. All members voting “Aye.” At 7:02 p.m., on motion made by Council President Cirilo and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the Council meeting was adjourned. All members voting “Aye”.
