TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE PLANNING BOARD MEETING MINUTES February 1, 2017 The Township of West Orange Planning Board held a regular meeting on February 1, 2017 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber, 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey. Acting Chairman Weston called the meeting to order at approximately 7:30 P.M. He announced that notification of the meeting had been given to the Township Clerk, and had been posted on the Township Bulletin Board and website calendar, and sent to the West Orange Chronicle and the Star Ledger. The meeting was properly noticed to the public in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act. No new matters would start after 10:30 P.M. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIAN CE Acting Chairman Weston requested all present stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. The next Planning Board regular meeting will be March 1, 2017 in the Council Chamber at 7:30 P.M. RESOLUTION(S) PB-16-18/Mark Lance Block: 80.01, Lots: 37, 38 & 39, Zone: R-5 25 Highwood Road Minor Subdivision without variances. PB-16-12/The Baptist Home Society of New Jersey d/b/a The Cliffs at Eagle Rock Block: 177.08, Lot: 20; Zone: R-5 707 Eagle Rock Avenue Amended Site Plan. The Board voted on adopting the Resolution as follows: Motion: Acting Chairman Weston Second: Mr. Cardoza Cardoza: Yes Eben: Yes Ghebremicael: - Klein: Absent Keigher: Yes McCartney: Yes Wegner: Absent | Weston: Yes Wilkes: - Bagoff: Absent APPLICATION(S) Acting Chairman Weston announced there were no new applications. OTHER BUSINESS Acting Chairman Weston announced that the County and Township had both requested letters of support for Green Acres grant applications they were submitting to the State. Chairman Bagoff would be sending the letters on behalf of the Board. The County project was for improvements to the Penguin Exhibit; the Township project was for improvements to Lafayette Field and Degnan Field. Councilwoman McCartney requested the Board begin its reexamination of the Township’s Master Plan at the March meeting. Acting Chairman Weston instructed the Secretary to have hard copies of the 2010 Master Plan Update distributed to the Board before the next regular meeting.
