MINUTES TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT SPECIAL MEETING June 1, 2017 The West Orange Zoning Board of Adjustment was scheduled to hold a special meeting on June 1, 2017 commencing 8:00 PM at 66 Main Street, West Orange, N.J. in Council Chambers. Chairman Neuer called the meeting to order at approximately 8:00 P.M and announced that this is a special Zoning Board meeting for application ZB-17-01/Redwood, LLC, represented by Robert C. Williams, Esq. who is present at this meeting. Chairman Neuer announced that besides himself, only Alice Beirne, Esq., Zoning Board attorney and Rose DeSena, Zoning Board secretary were also present at this meeting. Chairman Neuer stated that Mr. Williams notified the Board Secretary that his client was not able to proceed at this meeting and requested an adjournment. Chairman Neuer stated that he caused all Board Members to be notified of this adjournment so that they were not required to attend so that there is no quorum and the Board is unable to transact business. Upon advice from the Board Attorney, Chairman Neuer accepted Mr. Williams’ request for an adjournment. Chairman Neuer stated for the record that Mr. Williams will have to re-notice all property owners within 200” by certified mail with the new meeting date set and also by publication. Chairman Neuer said that Mr. Williams will appear at the next regular Zoning Board meeting to request a special meeting for his client. Chairman Neuer stated that Mr. Williams has signed the time extension so that the statutory time period will not expire until October 31, 2017 and that no additional escrow funds are required at this time. The meeting was adjourned by Chairman Neuer at 8:02 pm, LZ ‘ose DeSena Zoning Board Secretary
