**PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN VENUE** PUBLIC MEETING AGENDA-AMENDED Township of West Orange **Liberty Middle School – One Kelly Drive – 7:00 p.m. March 19, 2019 This is to inform the general public that this meeting is being held in compliance with Section 5 of the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, Public Law 1975. The annual notice was emailed to the Star Ledger and filed in the Township Clerk’s office on September 26, 2018, and published in the West Orange Chronicle on October 4, 2018. Statement of Decorum In all matters not provided for in subsection 3-15.1 and except upon consent of the Council President, each person addressing the Council pursuant to this subsection shall be required to limit his or her remarks to five (5) minutes, and shall at no time engage in any personally offensive or abusive remarks. The chair shall call any speaker to order who violates any provision of this rule. Under the agreement Reliable Wood will pay a monthly rent amount of $4,167. (Legal-Moon) c. 90-19 Resolution Authorizing the Township to Accept a Grant of $24,500 from the Historic Preservation Office of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and to Execute a Grant Agreement Required for the Receipt of the Grant Funds (Legal-Moon) d. 91-19 Resolution Authorizing the Township to Enter into a

New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and to Execute a Grant Agreement Required for the Receipt of the Grant Funds (Legal-Moon) d. 91-19 Resolution Authorizing the Township to Enter into a Settlement Agreement to Resolve a Pending Lawsuit in the Special Civil Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey related to the Township’s Claim on a Bid Bond Submitted by Ocean Clean, LLC for the Township’s Contract for Janitorial Services after Ocean Clean Defaulted and Withdrew its Bid After Being Deemed the Lowest Responsible Bidder for the Contract. The Settlement Agreement provides that Ocean Clean will Make Payment to the Township in the Amount of $4,000 to be Paid in Installments. (Legal- Moon)

The proposal provides that Matrix will perform as the LSRP for a rate not to exceed $4,100. (Legal-Roche) k. 98-19 Resolution Authorizing the Township to Retain Thomas Scrivo, Esq. from O’Toole Scrivo as Special Litigation Counsel to Represent the Township as to any Potential Litigation that may Arise from the Township’s Acquisition of Rock Spring Golf Course or Award of a Contract for Operation, Management, and Maintenance of Rock Spring Golf Course as a Public Golf Course. The retention provides that Special Litigation Counsel will be paid at a rate of $200 per hour with a cap to fees at $10,000.
