On motion made by Councilman Rutherford and seconded by Councilwoman Ghebremicael, a request was made for the Administration to approve that an RFQ for Special Counsel for the Township Council to deal with their conflict with the Township Attorney. Councilwoman Ghebremicael, Councilman Rutherford and Councilwoman Scarpa voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Casalino and Council President Williams voting “Nay.” A motion was made by Councilman Rutherford and seconded by Councilwoman Scarpa, to permanently ban Mr. John McNair from attending Council meetings. Councilwoman Ghebremicael, Councilman Rutherford and Councilwoman Scarpa voting “Aye.” Council President Williams voting “Nay.” Councilwoman Casalino abstained. ABC Hearing At 1:38 a.m., on motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Williams the Township Council adjourned the public meeting and entered into their ABC Hearing. All members voting “Aye.” At the end of the public meeting, the moderator ended the Zoom meeting, and there was no further instructions given for a call in option, or zoom option for Councilwoman Ghebremicael to participate in the ABC Hearing. Councilman Rutherford left the meeting as he didn’t feel well due to Covid.
