14-10 January 5, 2010 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE AND PIAZZA & ASSOCIATES AFFORDABLE HOUSING SERVICES WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange desires to secure consultant services relative to its implementation of the Accessory Apartment Program and the Market to Affordable Program in compliance with the regulations of the New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing (COAH); and WHEREAS, Piazza &Associates Affordable Housing Services has heretofore satisfactorily provided professional services to municipalities in these and related matters; and WHEREAS, Piazza & Associates Affordable Housing Services is qualified to provide such administrative services under the direction and supervision of Susan Borg, West Orange Town Planner; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Township Council of the Township of West Orange hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute the attached agreement with Piazza & Associates Affordable Housing Services. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the agreement shall be maintained on file in the Township Clerk s office for public inspection. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Township Clerk cause a notice of the award of this contract to be published as provided by the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 5(1) (a) (i) ). _____________________________ ____________________________ Karen J.
