21-10 February 9, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, by Resolution, the Township Council previously approved the retention of Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc. (“CCMSI”) as third party administrator of the Township’s Self Insurance Workers Compensation Program; and WHEREAS, the Township Municipal Insurance Fund now desires to terminate the contract with CCMSI; and WHEREAS, the Township Municipal Insurance Fund desires to retain the Garden State Joint Insurance Fund to act as third party administrator of the Township’s Self Insurance Workers Compensation Program so as to be responsible for handling the management and administration of the Township’s worker’s compensation claims; and WHEREAS, the contract between the Township of West Orange and the Garden State Joint Insurance Fund shall be effective February 1, 2010 and terminate on December 31, 2010 and shall be for a total fee of $16,041.66, to be paid in monthly installments of $1,458.33; NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the agreement with CCMSI is terminated and that the Mayor or Business Administrator be and is hereby authorized to execute any agreement retaining Garden State Joint Insurance Fund to serve as Third Party Administrator of the Township Workers’ Compensation Program at the total rate of $16 ,041.66 for the period between February 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010.
