51-10 February 23, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange desires to retain local artists to prepare designs for painted, sculptured or other works of art to be applied to outdoor walls as murals on various locations within the Township; and WHEREAS, the artists retained shall be paid from monies raised through fundraising efforts and donations and not taxpayer dollars; and WHEREAS, annexed hereto is a form of Agreement to be executed by the artists and the Township of West Orange for its mural project; NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the Director of Planning and Development be and is hereby authorized to execute an artist agreement in the form annexed hereto. ________________________________ Karen Carnevale Honorable Susan McCartney Township Clerk Council President Adopted: February 23, 2010 Approved as to form on the basis of the facts provided: ______________________________ Richard D.
