ed/resolution/losap 55-10 March 9, 2010 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CERTIFICATION LIST FOR LOSAP FOR THE YEAR 2009-Revised A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, ESSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Township of West Orange adopted Ordinance No. 1710-00 on July 18, 2000, providing a LOSAP for members of the West Orange First Aid Squad; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Township of West Orange authorized American General Financial Group (VALIC) to administer the LOSAP with the approval of Resolution No. 9720-02 on February 5, 2002; and WHEREAS, the Division of Local Government Services reviewed and approved the length of service award plan submitted by the Township of West Orange on March 13, 2002; and WHEREAS, the West Orange First Aid Squad has presented the attached certified list of active First Aid Squad Volunteers who quality for LOSAP contribution for the year 2009, to the Mayor and Council of the Township of West Orange; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council have reviewed and approved the list of volunteer First Aid Squad Members who qualify for LOSAP contribution for the year 2009. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the certified list and this resolution was posted for thirty (30) days at the West Orange First Aid Squad and in the office of the Municipal Clerk in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:14-192.
