84-10 April 13, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2B:25-4(a), all municipalities are required to have at least one municipal prosecutor appointed by the governing body to perform the duties set forth in N.J.S.A. 2B:25-5, and WHEREAS, the position of municipal prosecutor for the Township of West Orange is currently vacant; and WHEREAS, the L. Grace Spencer, Esq. has submitted her qualifications to the Township of West Orange to fill the position of municipal prosecutor, annexed hereto; and WHEREAS, Ms. Spencer shall exercise all her functions and perform her duties in accordance with all applicable ordinances and statutes; and WHEREAS, Ms. Spencer’s appointment shall run until June 30, 2010 wherein the Counsel may re-appoint her for a full term as the Township’s Municipal Prosecutor; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that L. Grace Spencer, Esq. be and hereby is appointed to serve as the Township’s Acting Municipal Prosecutor, until June 30, 2010, in accordance with all applicable ordinances and statutes. Ms. Spencer shall not receive any benefits related to her service as Acting Municipal Prosecutor. Karen J.
