99-10 April 27, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Essex County Parks Foundation and Orange/West Orange UNICO will conduct a fair on the premises of 1315 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, New Jersey, the National Guard Armory Site, from May 12, 2010 through May 16, 2010; and WHEREAS, the applicants are seeking a license from the Township of West Orange to operate games of chance and skill at said agricultural fair and have filed with the Township and the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission (“LGCCC”); and WHEREAS, the West Orange Police Department has approved all applications required to issue said licenses; and WHEREAS, proof of satisfactory insurance coverage has been provided to the Township Attorney; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that pursuant to the Township Ordinance, the Township Council authorizes the issuance of Township licenses to operate games of skill and chance at the aforesaid fair to be conducted by the Essex County Parks Foundation and the Orange/West Orange UNICO during May 12, 2010 through May 16, 2010. ________________________________ Karen Carnevale Honorable Susan McCartney Township Clerk Council President Adopted: April 27, 2010 Approved as to form on the basis of the facts provided:
