c:ed/resolution/LOSAPtemplate 63-10 March 9, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange has a need to review its Length of Service Awards Program (LOSAP) as of December 31, 2009, and WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange is recommending such a review be undertaken by the Township of West Orange auditors, McEnerney, Brady & Co. LLC, given that they are already familiar with Township of West Orange systems; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has determined that this fee is covered in the cost of the Annual Audit for the period ending December 31, 2009. WHEREAS, the local public contract law N.J.S.A. 40a:11-1 et.seq. provides that a resolution authorizing a contract for “professional services” may be awarded without competitive bid; NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Municipal Council of the Township of West Orange, New Jersey, that the Municipal Council of the Township of West Orange does hereby approve a contract with McEnerney, Brady & Co., LLC for an amount not to exceed $2,300 to perform a review of the West Orange Length of Service Awards Program, (LOSAP) as of December 31, 2009. _________________________ __________________________ Karen J.
