145-10 June 15, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The Township of West Orange awarded a contract to C & D Landscaping, Inc. a New Jersey Corporation having its principal place of business at 632 Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, New Jersey for Construction of Access Ramps for ADA compliance at Kiddie Parks located in Stagg Field and Minish Park, West Orange, New Jersey, and WHEREAS, the Township Council by Resolution No. 269-09 dated December 15, 2009 awarded a contract for a lump sum bid of $23,100.00 to C & D Landscaping, Inc., and WHEREAS, the West Orange Township Engineer recommended additional work at both parks, and WHEREAS, the cost for this additional work amounts to $3,975.00; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer recommended the following Change Order No. 1 as being necessary and beneficial; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available by Essex County through its Recreation and Open Space Trust Fund, a 2009 Open Space Local Aid Program; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the forgoing NOW THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED by the Township of Council of the Township of West Orange that Change Order No. 1 with C & D Landscaping, Inc. in the amount of $3,975.00 for Construction of ADA Compliance at Kiddie Parks located in Stagg Field & Minish Park, West Orange, New Jersey is hereby approved and the Township Council further authorizes Leonard R.
