197-10 July 20, 2010 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange entered into a contract with CMS Construction, Inc. having its principal place of business at 152 Sherman Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07114 for Pleasant Valley Way Sidewalks; and WHEREAS, the Township council by Resolution No. 107-10 dated April 27, 2010 awarded a contract for the Base Bid of $143,645.00; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer recommended the following Change Order No. 1 and Final in the amount of $10,388.00 as being necessary and beneficial; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 and Final reflects final construction costs and cost expected with additional work to correct unforeseen conditions as shown in the attached Change Order submitted by the contractor and reviewed and approved by the Township Engineer; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist to pay for the change order; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township council of the Township of West Orange that Change Order No. 1 and Final in the amount of $10,388.00 with CMS Construction, Inc. for construction of the Pleasant Valley Way Sidewalks, is hereby approved and the Township Council further authorizes Leonard R.
