249-10 September 28, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the West Orange Fire Department has determined that certain organizations are entitled to refunds for improper billing of ambulance services, and WHEREAS, CIGNA Healthcare, had submitted an overpayment of $620.74 for ambulances services provided on June 5, 2008 to Mayer Riff, 41 Stanford Avenue, West Orange, New Jersey, Reference Number 446935, and WHEREAS, the West Orange Fire Department, has determined that a refund is required and the amount has been verified by the Municipal Comptroller, Edward J. Coleman, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Township Council to refund the amount of $620.74 to CIGNA Healthcare for over payment of ambulance services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Business Administrator be and is hereby authorized to issue payment from the funds on deposit in the account of the Township of West Orange to CIGNA Healthcare totaling $620.74 to effect the refund above referred to.
