276-10 October 26, 2010 R E S O L U T I O N RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey, that the contract for EMERGENCY AND NON EMERGENCY TREE SERVICES in the Township of West Orange, awarded to Kevin Downes Tree Service, Inc. d/b/a/ Downes Tree Service, Inc., 65 Royal Avenue, Hawthorne, for a one year period commencing October 27, 2009 be extended for an additional one year period through October 27, 2011. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the extension of this contract shall be at the following unit prices: DESCRIPTION EMERGENCY HOURLY RATE NON EMERGENCY HOURLY RATE 75’ Bucket Truck, 12 c.y. chipping $ 355.00 $247.00 Body 14” capacity brush chipper and (3) men crew (1) 7ton log loading crane and $ 165.00 $ 95.00 Operator (1) 2 man brush chipping crew $ 240.00 $ 155.00 with brush chipper and 12 c.y. chipper truck (1) 20 ton 100’ tree crane with $ 400.00 $270.00 NJ Certified Operator, Climber and Groundsperson (1) 30 h.p. or larger stump grinder $ 112.00 $ 75.00 TOTALS $1,272.00 $842.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount of $40,000 be authorized from the 2010 Operating Budget for these services.
