278-10 October 26, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange requires security to be posted outside the Municipal Courtroom when court is in session; and WHEREAS, currently the Township uses Abbry Security LLC for the furnishing of the unarmed security officers; and WHEREAS, Abbry Security is a division of The Occupational Center of New Jersey who employs and trains the handicapped and is recognized under the local public contracts law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(n) as an exemption from standard bid process. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Municipal Council of the Township of West Orange that the furnishing of unarmed security officers for the West Orange Municipal Court is hereby awarded to: Abbry Security, LLC 391 Lakeside Avenue Orange, NJ 07050 BE IT FURTHER REOLVED, that this is a 12 month service contract at the hourly rate of $13.35 or approximately $23,000.00 annually.
