301-10 November 23, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the West Orange Recreation Department desires to establish certain fees and rates for various programs sponsored by the department; and WHEREAS, the fees and rates that the West Orange Recreation Department wishes to establish for the 2011 season are as follows: Activity Fee Old Fees Traveling Sports $60.00-$95.00 $60.00 In House Team Sport $45.00-$65.00 $45.00 Instructional In House Sports $35.00 $35.00 Sports Clinics 30 hours or less 15 hours or less 12 hours or less 10 hours or less $175.00 $70.00 $45.00 $35.00 $175.00 $70.00 $45.00 $35.00 Preschool Program $55.00 $55.00 Footsteps Program $55.00 $55.00 Summer Basketball League West Orange Teams Visiting Teams $275.00 $375.00 $250.00 $350.00 Disabled Program Parties $6.00 residents/ $7.00 non residents $4.00 residents/ $5.00 non residents Disabled Program Summer Camp $85.00 $85.00 ; and WHEREAS, West Orange Ordinance 2-17.5 provides that “the Recreation Department may charge and collect in advance a reasonable fee for admission to or use the facilities, programs, or activities as specifically authorized by Resolution of Council”; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF

2 THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the above listed fees and rates be and are hereby approved and adopted for the 2011 season; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the West Orange Recreation Department be and hereby is authorized to charge the above rates to residents of the Township of West Orange. ________________________________ Karen J.
