336-10 December 14, 2010 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange entered into a contract with A & J Contractors Group, Inc. a New Jersey Corporation having its principal place of business at 105 Federal Road, Monroe Township, New Jersey 08831 for 2009 Phase III Street Improvements- Various Streets; and WHEREAS, the Township Council by Resolution No. 61-10 dated March 9, 2010 awarded a contract for the Base Bid of $749,047.11; and WHEREAS, the Township Council by Resolution No. 274-10 dated October 26, 2010 approved Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $123,326.40: and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer recommended the following amendment to Change Order No. 1 as being necessary and beneficial; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 and final reflects final construction costs and costs expected with additional work to correct unforeseen conditions as shown in the attached Change Order submitted by the contractor and reviewed and approved by the Township Engineer; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist to pay for the Change Order amendment; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs the foregoing; and NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that amendment to Change Order No. 1 and final in the amount of $11,824.00 with A & J Contractors Group, Inc., 2009 Phase III Street Improvements- Various Streets, is hereby approved and the Township Council further authorizes Leonard R.
