Page 131 1 what's our next slot? 2 MS. CHANDLER: We could do either 3 January 16th or February 20th. 4 CHAIRMAN NEUER: What do we have on for 5 January 16th? 6 MS. CHANDLER: As of right now, we only 7 have the carryover from Canterbury, 33 Mount 8 Pleasant. 9 CHAIRMAN NEUER: That's not going to be 10 short. 11 And we also have coming up this week a 12 couple of applications that are going to carry over. 13 What's the February date, 14 February 20th? 15 MS. CHANDLER: February 20th. 16 CHAIRMAN NEUER: Ms. Porter, how does 17 February 20th look for you? 18 And I know it's subject to your 19 experts, Mr. Turteltaub. 20 MR. TURTELTAUB: I will make myself 21 available. I don't know my experts' schedules at 22 that point in time. 23 Mr. Blanton, are you available? 24 THE WITNESS: I will make myself 25 available.
Page 132 1 MR. TURTELTAUB: Okay. And I can go 2 offline for one second and check with our third 3 expert. 4 Just hold on one second. 5 MS. PORTER: I am checking with our 6 experts as well. 7 (Brief Pause.) 8 MS. PORTER: Mr. Chairman, is there any 9 possibility for another special hearing in January 10 aside from the regular hearings? 11 CHAIRMAN NEUER: Are you willing to do 12 notice, because -- 13 MS. PORTER: We would be willing to 14 re-notice if we could get one in January. 15 CHAIRMAN NEUER: I'm going to leave it 16 to you and Mr. Turteltaub, two civilized human 17 beings, to communicate with each other and see if you 18 both have -- let me just see. I'll have to poll the 19 board. 20 Our regular meeting is on the 16th. 21 See what you can do for the 9th or the 23rd. See if 22 we can get a quorum. 23 MR. TURTELTAUB: Mr. Blanton, are 24 January 9th or January 23rd, are you available on 25 either of those or both dates.
Page 133 1 THE WITNESS: I can make both those 2 dates work. 3 MR. TURTELTAUB: Okay. 4 CHAIRMAN NEUER: Just show of hands if 5 you have your calendars with you, members of the 6 board and professionals, January 9th, if you're 7 available raise your hand, please. 8 I see Mr. Schwarzbaum, Mr. Eben. 9 MR. WILLIAMS: Mr. Chairman, I have a 10 potential conflict on January 9th and the 23rd 11 currently looks okay. 12 CHAIRMAN NEUER: So let's go back to 13 the 23rd. Members of the board and professionals, 14 raise your hand if the 23rd would be an acceptable 15 date for a special meeting. 16 Mr. Barbee, your hand is up. Mr. Eben, 17 Mr. Scott? That's a no? 18 MR. SCOTT: I'm a no on the 23rd. 19 CHAIRMAN NEUER: What I'm going to do 20 is I'm going to adjourn this until the 16th. And a 21 special on the 23rd, we'll announce it at that time 22 so that we don't have to do special notices. 23 If not, then we'll move it to the 20th 24 of February. 25 I didn't hear you, Mr. Scott.
Page 134 1 MR. SCOTT: Apologies. 2 CHAIRMAN NEUER: Okay. 3 MR. TURTELTAUB: Mr. Chairman, my 4 second witness I understand has a hearing on the 23rd 5 scheduled. I will do -- I will work with her to see 6 if we can arrange her time since it would be the 7 second testimony we'd have that night. 8 I will report back to you if I can get 9 that cleared for her. 10 But she has informed me she has the 11 23rd. She's open on the 9th, but not the 23rd. 12 CHAIRMAN NEUER: Okay. We are going to 13 try to schedule a special meeting on January 23rd. 14 MR. TURTELTAUB: Okay. 15 CHAIRMAN NEUER: This meeting -- this 16 hearing is adjourned until January 16th, at which 17 time we will decide whether or not there will be a 18 special meeting and make the announcement to avoid 19 having to send out additional notices. 20 If we can't continue this hearing on 21 the 23rd of January, on the 16th or January we will 22 announce that it will go forward on the 20th of 23 February. You will be first on the agenda. 24 Is there anything on the agenda yet, 25 Diana, for February?
Page 135 1 MS. CHANDLER: No. 2 CHAIRMAN NEUER: I can't hear you. 3 MS. CHANDLER: No. 4 CHAIRMAN NEUER: Okay. Is that clear? 5 Does anybody have any questions about scheduling? 6 MR. SCOTT: To confirm, February 20th. 7 CHAIRMAN NEUER: I understand, but 8 we're trying to get as many people as we can. 9 So that without further ado, this 10 hearing is adjourned to January 16th. 11 If you have an interest in the hearing, 12 please come as early as possible so that you will 13 find out when the actual next testimony will be 14 given. 15 That's all we have for tonight. Thank 16 you all very much for your cooperation. This meeting 17 is adjourned. 18 MR. TURTELTAUB: Mr. Chairman, Members 19 of the Board, thank you. 20 CHAIRMAN NEUER: See you next week. 21 (Whereupon, this matter is continuing 22 at a future date. Time noted: 11:01 p.m.) 23 24 25
