Learn why this is important Tom, Joseph, Zayibeth, Richard and Mayor McCartney, Hello to all. My wife and I are the owners of 29 Mountain Avenue, Llewelyn Park. For many months I have been alerting the Town, mostly through my emails and discussions with Tom and other town oRicials, of the tremendous water diversion from 40 Eagle Ridge Way down the mountain (my private property), onto other Llewellyn Park properties and the roads of Llewellyn Park. This water diversion is the direct result of piping installed by 40 Eagle Ridge Way to divert any water from that property, down the mountain and into Llewellyn Park. This water diversion, which enhances 40 Eagle Ridge Way, is negatively impacting the mountain infrastructure and presenting water run-oR/flooding to Llewelyn Park. I am including clear video, from this weekend’s rain, showing how the storm water is existing the piping system at 40 Eagle Ridge Way and (rather than being properly collected by 40 Eagle Ridge) is diverted down the mountain and into Llewelyn Park. This water diversion piping system was also disclosed by Mr. Sulivan (the West Orange Consulting Engineer) and referenced in his most recent report of 40 Eagle Ridge Way. We expect that the town will immediately compel 40 Eagle Ridge Way to remove all water diversion piping into Llewelyn Park and confirm the date it will be completed.
