60-18 February 6, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange Municipal Code 15-3.1 establishes a Rent Leveling Board (the “Board”) to provide tenants and landlords information and assistance with complying with the Township of West Orange requirements governing tenancy within the Township of West Orange and to adjudicate applications from tenants and landlords regarding the change in rent; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Township of West Orange Municipal Code 15-3.1(c) provides that two (2) members of the Board are to be appointed by a majority vote of the Township Council; and WHEREAS, one of the two (2) members of the Board appointed by the majority vote of the Township Council will be appointed for a one (1) year period and the other member of the Board appointed by the majority vote of the Township Council will be appointed for a two (2) year period; and WHEREAS, the Township Council seeks to appoint Anthony Campagna and Chris O’Connor. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that Anthony Campagna be and is hereby appointed to the Township of West Orange Rent Leveling Board for a year term; and be it further RESOLVED, that Chris O’Connor be and is hereby appointed to the Township of West Orange Rent Leveling Board for a year term; and be it further RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall be made available in the Clerk’s office in accordance with applicable law.
