73-18 February 27, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, an entity known as 2017 Eagle Rock West Orange, LLC (the “Eagle Rock”) is the contract purchaser of the property located at 662 Eagle Rock Avenue and a portion of the property at Lots 12, 12.13 and 14 in Block 176.05 on the Tax Map of the Township of West Orange (the “Property”); and WHEREAS, the portion of the property at Lots 12, 12.13 and 14 in Block 176.05 on the Tax Map of the Township of West Orange (the “Parking Area”) was previously licensed to the Township for public parking by the prior owner; and WHEREAS, the Township Council adopted Resolution 251-17 authorizing the acceptance of the Parking Area; and WHEREAS, Eagle Rock has agreed to a license agreement, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” (the “License Agreement”) allowing the Township to utilize the Parking Area while Eagle Rock finalizes the Parking Area for dedication to the Township; and WHEREAS, Eagle Rock as agreed to grant this license at no cost to the Township. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that the Township be and hereby is authorized to execute the License Agreement annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” for the use of the Parking Area for public parking; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Mayor is authorized to execute the License Agreement annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” for the use of the Parking Area for public parking; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Township Clerk is authorized to witness the Mayor’s signature on the License Agreement; and be it further
