120-18 May 8, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange is in need of a company to staff the security post outside the Municipal Courtroom when court is in session; and WHEREAS, the Township is familiar with and has used the services of Abbry Security LLC since the year 2007 for unarmed security services and has been satisfied with the services they provide the Township's Municipal Court; and WHEREAS, Abbry Security LLC is a division of First Community Development Corp. of NJ who is an authorized and registered Shelter Workshop; and WHEREAS, the Township can secure a contract with Abbry Security LLC without the public advertisement of bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(n); and WHEREAS, Abbry Security LLC has proposed to maintain the existing hourly rate of $15.00 and the duration of this contract will be for 24 months consistent with the terms of the service contract annexed hereto as Exhibit “A.” NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the Township be and is hereby authorized to exercise the service contract with Abbry Security LLC, 187 Cortlandt Street, Belleville, NJ 07109, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” for the above-mentioned rate and term; and it is further
