123-18 May 8, 2018 R E S O L U T I O N BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey, that the contract for SPRING 2018 TREE PLANTING AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS in the Township of West Orange be awarded to: LOUIS BARBATO LANDSCAPING 1600 RAILROAD AVENUE HOLBROOK, NEW YORK 11741 who submitted the lowest responsive bid for supplying 200 trees of 23 different species along with two items for deep root barriers and soil amendments in the amount of $64,500; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the unit prices bid for planting an additional 200 trees through June 1, 2019 be accepted and a contract awarded for this work subject to the encumbrance of additional funds and the issuance of a Purchase Order. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Certified Checks and/or Bid Bonds of all except the lowest responsive bidder be forthwith returned, and the Mayor and Township Clerk be and they hereby are respectively authorized to execute and attest a contract for the foregoing. ___________________________________ __________________________________ KAREN J.
