131-18 May 22, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange has applied for and has been awarded a grant in the amount of $6,900 (Subaward# J-J:9-25-13) from the State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, New Jersey Governor’s Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Committee to be used in connection with the West Orange Police Department 2018 Summer Expansion Program for the period of June 1, 2018 – September 30, 2018; NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that the above referenced grant is hereby accepted for the purposes described above and the Mayor is hereby authorized to accept and execute grant documents as an authorized representative thereunder, as the representative for the Township of West Orange; and be it further RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the New Jersey Department of Law & Public Safety.
