140-18 May 22, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange (“Township”) seeks to renew the West Orange Jr. Police Academy Delinquency Program; and WHEREAS, in response to the County of Essex’s Request for Proposal, the Township submitted a proposal for certain juvenile services; and WHEREAS, the Township and the County of Essex seek to enter into an agreement in accordance with the Township’s proposal; and WHEREAS, the Township will receive $18,563 from the County of Essex Department of Citizen Services State/Community Partnership Program to be used in connection with the West Orange Jr. Police Academy Delinquency Program. NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that the Township Council of the Township of West Orange hereby authorizes the Township to enter into a contract with the County of Essex for the West Orange Jr. Police Academy Delinquency Program and that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents as the representative for the Township; and be it further RESOLVED that notice of this resolution shall be published and available in the Clerk’s office in accordance with applicable law.
