164-18 June 26, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, an application has been submitted by the Township of West Orange Recreation Department, which wishes to sponsor the Township’s annual Fourth of July fireworks exhibition at Degnan Field/West Orange High School on July 4, 2018 (Rain Date: July 7, 2018); and WHEREAS, all of the necessary documentation has been submitted to the Township Clerk, on an Application for Permission to Conduct Fireworks Display (the “Application”), as required by State and local law; and WHEREAS, the Application indicates that Pyro Engineering, Inc., of 999 South Oyster Bay Road, Suite 111, Bethpage, NY 11714, will provide and supervise the fireworks display; and WHEREAS, the Application has been reviewed and approved by the Township Police Chief and Fire Official; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the Township of West Orange Recreation Department be and is hereby granted permission to conduct a firework display on July 4, 2018 (Rain Date: July 7, 2018); subject to the directives of the Fire Official and Police Chief, or their designees; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute any documents between the Township of West Orange and Pyro Engineering, Inc. necessary to formally retain for the Fourth of July fireworks exhibition.
