168-18 June 26, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on September 19, 2017, the Township Council for the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) adopted Resolution 208-17 authorizing the execution of a purchase agreement for the real property located at Block No. 176.03, Lot 10 on the Tax Map of the Township also known as 665 Eagle Rock Avenue (“Property”); and WHEREAS, on February 6, 2018, the Township Council adopted Resolution No. 64-18 authorizing the Township to proceed with the closing on the purchase of the Property; and WHEREAS, on February 28, 2018, the Township closed on the purchase of the Property and obtained an executed Deed and other closing documents from the Property Seller, a copy of which is annexed hereto as Exhibit “A;” and WHEREAS, on the Deed and other closing documents were recorded with the Essex County Register of Deeds and Mortgages on April 10, 2018, a recorded copy is annexed hereto as Exhibit “A;” and WHEREAS, the Township desires to cancel the real estate taxes on the Property through the second quarter of 2018 totaling $1,028. NOW, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that the real estate taxes on the Property through the second quarter of 2018 are hereby cancelled of record. ________________________________ Karen J.
