180-18 August 7, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, an application has been submitted by the Montclair Golf Club at Rock Spring Court (“MGC”) for a permit to conduct a fireworks exhibition to commemorate the Labor Day Holiday scheduled to take place at MGC on September 1, 2018; and WHEREAS, MGC seeks permission to conduct a fireworks exhibition from approximately 8:30 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. on September 1, 2018 (the “Event”) with a rain date of September 2, 2018; WHEREAS, all of the necessary documentation has been or will be submitted to the West Orange Fire Department, on an Application for Permission to Conduct Fireworks Display (the “Application”), annexed hereto as Exhibit “A,”, as required by State and local law; and WHEREAS, the Application indicates that Garden State Fireworks, Inc., P.O. Box 403, 383 Carlton Road, Millington, New Jersey, 07946, will provide and supervise the fireworks display; and WHEREAS, the Application has been reviewed and approved by the Township of West Orange Fire Official, and confirms that a Certificate of Insurance naming the Township as an additional insured has been provided, as annexed hereto as Exhibit “A.” NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the MGC be and is hereby granted permission to conduct a firework display on September 1, 2018, subject to the directives of the Township of West Orange Fire Chief or his designees with a rain date of September 2, 2018.
