Management and Personnel Operation of West Orange Environmental Center The following persons will be responsible for the operation the West Orange Environmental Center: 1. Nicholas Vene- Senior Regional Vice President, Reliable Wood Products, LLC (“Reliable”). Nick has been in the recycling business for more than 15 years in connection with the recycling of plastic, paper, wood, leaves, and grass into products that are marketed and sold worldwide. The vegetative waste recycling business conducted by Reliable has continued to grow since its start in 1998 and now encompasses 14 locations in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Reliable has become the largest yard waste recycling company in the tri-state area. The experience, knowledge and expertise that Nick has developed is unmatched within the industry. In April 2006 Reliable was acquired by Harvest Power, Inc., a company that is focused on developing energy from organic waste, and continues to operate Reliable. Nick is involved with all aspects of Reliable on a day to day basis to keep the service to all customers as efficient and cost effective as possible. Nick also has successfully completed the Compost Operators Certification Coarse. ; 2. Pat D’Addona- Safety Officer Pat started in the Yard waste recycling industry 26 years ago with Advanced Recycling located ; in Newark, He gained valuable experience in the processing of all types of yard waste and joined ' the Reliable team 10 years ago and is responsible for safety matters company-wide as well as : certain areas of operations. Pat is a hands-on manager and has many years experience keeping Class C and Class B facilities DEP compliant. Pat has successfully completed the Compost Operators Certification Coarse. 3. Keith Bartron- Operations Manager Keith has been involved with recycling since 1992 with assignments of increasing responsibility with Nature’s Choice Corporation, and since the acquisition of that company, with Reliable also. Keith started as an equipment operator and has climbed the ranks to be part of the management team of Reliable. Keith is familiar with all aspects of the West Orange Facility and will be a key employee concerning the operation of the facility. He has also completed the Compost Operators Certification Coarse. i f :
4. Mike Mitchell- West Orange Site Manager Prior to Mike’s employment with Reliable, Mike owned a trucking company that transported materials to different recycling facilities throughout the tri-state area. His company was an owner operator to Reliable and he became familiar with the transportation of all materials within the Reliable network. In 2006 Mike joined Reliable as a site manager for the South Brunswick Facility where he gained valuable experience running a recycling facility. In March of 2008 Mike became site manager in West Orange and is the person responsible for day-to-day operations. Mike has successfully completed the Compost Operators Certification Coarse. 5. Joffre Jara- Yard Foreman Joffre has 12 years’ experience working at the West Orange Facility. The first 4 years were with Nature’s Choice and the balance with Reliable. Joffre is a conscientious young man that has a lot of experience with yard waste recycling and is a valuable member of the West Orange operations team. In addition to the management personnel listed above Reliable also has the necessary number of employees to operate the West Orange facility safely and efficiently as has been done for the past several years, Reliable has the depth of personnel to assure that the facility will always be adequately staffed not only for the processing of recyclable materials but also to assist West Orange residents with their individual recycling needs. Reliable also has been able to work effectively with West Orange Township personnel, including Messrs. Lepore and Salese, and the appointed independent monitor entity, DeFeo Associates, to meet the recycling goals of the Township. | |
