2549-18 5135481.1 ORDINANCE ADOPTING REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR BLOCK 155, LOT 42.01 IN THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, COUNTY OF ESSEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY WHEREAS, on January 9, 2018, the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) adopted Resolution 17-18 designating certain real property located on Executive Drive and Rooney Circle and more commonly known as Block 155, Lots 40.02, 40.03, 41.02, 42.01, and 42.02 and Block 155.21, Lot 40 on the Township of West Orange Tax Map (the “Redevelopment Area”) as a Non-Condemnation Area in Need of Redevelopment; and WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-7 of the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law requires a Redevelopment Plan to be prepared and referred to the Planning Board for its review and recommendation in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-7(e); and WHEREAS, on June 12, 2018, the Township Council adopted Resolution 145-18 authorizing the Township retained Heyer, Gruel & Associates located at 236 Broad Street in Red Bank, New Jersey 07701 (“Planner”) to prepare and present a Redevelopment Plan for the property located at Block 155, Lot 42.01, known commonly as 300 Executive Drive (“300 Executive”); and WHEREAS, the Planner prepared a redevelopment plan for 300 Executive entitled 300 Executive Drive Redevelopment Plan, dated July 2018 (the “300 Executive Redevelopment Plan”); and WHEREAS, on July 11, 2018, the Planning Board of the Township of West Orange (“Planning Board”) reviewed the 300 Executive Redevelopment Plan and made various recommendations for revisions to same; and

2 5135481.1 WHEREAS, on August 1, 2018, the Planning Board reviewed and recommended to the Township the adoption of a revised version of the 300 Executive Redevelopment Plan, a copy of which is attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered revised 300 Executive Drive Redevelopment Plan which incorporates the comments and recommendations of the Planning Board and now wishes to adopt and enact the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Township of West Orange that that the 300 Executive Redevelopment Plan, dated July 13, 2018, is hereby adopted and enacted. ______________________________ ROBERT D.
