1 218-18 September 25, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Richard D. Trenk, Esq. currently serves as Township Attorney for the Township of West Orange; and WHEREAS, Mr. Trenk is currently a Partner with Trenk DiPasquale Della Fera & Sodono, P.C. and WHEREAS, effective October 1, 2018, Mr. Trenk will become a Partner at McManimon Scotland and Baumann, LLC (“MSB”); and WHEREAS, Mr. Trenk is willing to continue to serve as Township Attorney on the same terms and conditions as Mr. Trenk’s current engagement; and WHEREAS, MSB has and will continue to serve as Redevelopment Counsel for the Downtown Main Street Project; and WHEREAS, the Township desires for Mr. Trenk and his staff to continue to perform services as Township Attorney; and; WHEREAS, NOW, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE effective October 1, 2018, Richard D. Trenk, who will then be with law firm of McManimon Scotland and Bauman, LLC will be authorized to continue to serve as Township Attorney on the same terms and conditions as presently exists; and it is further RESOLVED, that this award is not made through a fair and open process which is generally done on an annual basis in December; and it is further RESOLVED, that notice of this award shall be made in accordance with applicable law and a copy of this Resolution shall be maintained by the Clerk of the Township of West Orange.
