226-18 October 16, 2018 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, there is certain real properties located at Lot 32, Block 9 on the Tax Map of the Township of West Orange (the “Township”), commonly known as 8-10 Central Avenue (the “Property”); and WHEREAS, on September 4, 2018, the Township adopted Resolution No. 192-18 authorizing the Township to enter into a First Amendment to an Interim Redevelopment Agreement between the Township and the Alpert Group, wherein the Township would be assigned an Agreement for Sale of the Property by which the Township would purchase the Property; and WHEREAS, on October 2, 2018 (the “Closing Date”), Township closed on the purchase of the Property and obtained an executed Deed and other closing documents, a copy of which is annexed hereto as Exhibit “A;” and WHEREAS, the Township desires to cancel any and all real estate taxes and sewer charges accruing on the Property since the Closing Date and cancelled of record. NOW, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that the real estate taxes for the Property are hereby cancelled of record; and be it further RESOLVED, that the sewer charges on the Property are hereby cancelled of record. ________________________________ Karen J.
