99-13 May 7, 2013 RESOLUTION WHEREAS , by Resolution No. 111-12 dated May 29, 2012 the Township of West Orange awarded a Professional Services contract to Barretto/Dowd, 100 Old Tavern Road, Howell, New Jersey 07731 in the amount of $35,000.00 to design improvements and prepare bid documents for Ridgeway Park on Ridgeway Avenue; and WHEREAS , the award included an estimated allowance of $2,208.25 for reimbursable expenses; and WHEREAS , the firm of Barreto/Dowd advised the Township Engineer that the allowance of $2,208.25 will be exceeded primarily due to printing costs associated with reproducing 30 sets of bid documents and plans for public bidding purposes; and WHEREAS , Barreto/Dowd estimated that to pay for the printing costs as well as to provide an allowance for reimbursable expenses another $2,941.44 of funding is required; and WHEREAS , the Township Engineer has requested by letter an additional appropriation of $3,000.00 for reimbursable expenses to Barreto/Dowd associated with their professional services for the design of improvements and the preparation to bid documents for Ridgeway Park; and WHEREAS , sufficient funds exist; and WHEREAS , the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that an additional appropriation of $3,000.00 for reimbursable expenses to Barreto/Dowd, 100 Old Tavern Road, Howell, New Jersey 07731 associated with their design of
