6-21 January 5, 2021 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Borough of North Caldwell (the “Borough”) and the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) wish to enter an Inter-Local Agreement whereby the Township will provide animal facility sheltering services to the Borough for 2021 (the “Agreement”), a copy of the Agreement is annexed hereto as Exhibit “A;” and WHEREAS, under the Agreement, the Borough will pay the Township the sum of $3, 862.74 per annum to be prorated on a semi-annual basis of $1,931.37 per period for the contract year 2021; and WHEREAS, this Resolution authorizes that twenty-five (25%) of the per annum amount for the contract year be dedicated to and placed in the dog license account 04-2010-00-6690-304 to cover the costs and other expenses authorized under the agreement; and WHEREAS, the Township’s Health Officer has reviewed the Agreement and recommends the terms contained therein; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, the Borough shall indemnify the Township for any services provided for the Borough. NOW, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that the Mayor shall be and is hereby authorized to execute the Agreement with the Borough of North Caldwell, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A,” for year 2021 ending December 31, 2021; and it is further
