26-21 January 26, 2021 RESOLUTION 2013 Janitorial Services This resolution requests approval to extend existing contract for the Janitorial Services for year 2021. WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange the year 2018 publicly bid for janitorial services and awarded the contract through Resolution 282-18 to Excellent Building Services Corp. to provide janitorial services for the following buildings: (1) West Orange Town Hall; (2) West Orange Police Building (3) West Orange Senior Health; (4) Department of Public Works/Engineering; (5) Department of Recreation; (6) Police Valley Road Sub Station; and (7) Washington Street Police Sub Station (collectively, the “Buildings”); and WHEREAS, the Township is satisfied with the services performed by Excellent Buildings Services Corp. and as they are in agreement to maintain existing contract pricing for the Buildings in the amount of $44,376.00 annually; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Local Public Contract Laws 40A:11-15, the Township is allowed to extend the initial two-year contract for an additional one-year period, not to exceed 36 months. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Municipal Council of the Township of West Orange that the Janitorial Services contract for the year 2021 to be extended to Excellent Building Services Corp. (“Excellent”) located at 70 South Jefferson Street, Orange, NJ 07050 for $44,376.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief Financial Officer is hereby authorized to arrange to pay for the foregoing in accordance with the terms of said Purchase Order on behalf of the Township of West Orange, with funds certified available.
