24-22 February 1, 2022 RESOLUTION To authorize the purchase of computer equipment for the West Orange Fire Department by a State Contract Vendor. WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange Fire Department must replace inadequate computer storage hardware; and WHEREAS, Pascack Data Services, Inc. located at 200 Central Ave., Suite 100, Hawthorne, New Jersey 07506 is a contracted distributor for State Contract vendor Dell Marketing, LP #A89967 NASPO M-0483 for the purchase of computer equipment as described in Exhibit “A” and installed in the amount of $56,312.01; and WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange as a contracting unit may, without advertising for bids, purchase any materials, supplies or equipment under any contract or contracts for such materials, supplies or equipment entered into on behalf of the State by the Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of the Treasury pursuant to the provision of N.J.S.A. 40A: ll-12. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Municipal Council of the Township of West Orange to hereby authorize the Purchasing Agent to acquire Dell computer equipment from Pascack Data Services, Inc. with funds certified available from the Chief Financial Officer.
