DISCHARGE OF MORTGAGE WHEREAS on April 10, 2007, Borrower Elizabeth Anane-Agyei (the “Borrower”) executed a Mortgage in the amount of $15,040 (the (“Initial Mortgage”) to secure a loan through the Township of West Orange’s Housing Rehabilitation Program on the property located at 29 Woodland Avenue, West Orange, New Jersey 07052 (the “Property”); and WHEREAS the Initial Mortgage was recorded on June 19, 2008 at Book: 12142, Page: 3042 with the Essex County Register of Deeds and Mortgages; and WHEREAS the amount of the Initial Mortgage was incorrect and the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) and the Borrower entered into a revised Mortgage dated July 8, 2007 with the corrected amount of $15,000 (the “Revised Mortgage”); and WHEREAS the Revised Mortgage was recorded on August 1, 2008 at Book: 12150, Page: 7317; and WHEREAS the Initial Mortgage is still recorded against the Property and was meant to be discharged when the Township recorded the Revised Mortgage. THEREFORE, the Township declares that: 1. The Initial Mortgage recorded on June 19, 2008 at Book: 12142, Page 3042 be and is hereby SATISFIED and DISCHARGED. It may now be discharged of record. This means that the Initial Mortgage is now canceled and void. 2. The Revised Mortgage recorded on August 1, 2008 at Book 12150, Page 7317 shall remain in effect and in full force until such time as the Revised Mortgage is satisfied.
