80-22 April 5, 2022 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Farr Forestry Services, LLC (“FFS”) of 6 Ricker Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 responded to the Township of West Orange’s Request for Qualifications pursuant to a fair and open process for Professional Consulting Services as a New Jersey Approved Forrester, a Licensed Tree Expert or Arboriculture Approved Arborist for the Township; and WHEREAS, the Township’s Tree Protection and Removal Ordinance is administered by the Officer who shall have the status of New Jersey Approved Forester, Licensed Tree Expert or Arborist approved by the International Society of Arboriculture; and WHEREAS, Ronald Farr, Proprietor of FFS, is a Certified Forester; and WHEREAS, FFS agrees to provide forestry services for the calendar year 2022, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” for services on private property including being designated as the Officer to administer the Township’s Tree Protection and Removal Ordinance. NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute an agreement, in the form annexed hereto, to retain Farr Forestry Services to provide forestry services to the Township on the terms and conditions set forth therein; and it is further RESOLVED that notice of this award shall be available in the Clerk’s office in accordance with applicable law.
