143-22 May 24, 2022 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, an application has been submitted by August Santore on behalf of Garden State Fireworks, Inc., P.O. Box 403, 383 Carlton Road, Millington, New Jersey 07946 (“Garden State Fireworks”) to hold a fireworks exhibition to celebrate the Juneteenth holiday at the Rock Spring Golf Course on June 17, 2022; and WHEREAS, all of the necessary documentation has been submitted to the Township Clerk, on an Application for Permission to Conduct Fireworks Display (the “Application”), as required by State and local law; and WHEREAS, the Application indicates that Garden State Fireworks will provide and supervise the fireworks display; and WHEREAS, the Application has been reviewed and approved by the Township Fire Official, and confirms that a Certificate of Insurance naming the Township as an additional insured has been provided; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE that the Garden State Fireworks be and is hereby granted permission to conduct a firework display on June 17, 2022 at the Rock Spring Golf Course; subject to the directives of the Fire Official, or his designees.
