153-22 June 14, 2022 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Local Public Health (the “OLPH”) advertised for a non-competitive grant funding opportunity for COVID-19 Vaccination Supplemental Funding Program (the “Vaccination Grant”); and WHEREAS, the Vaccination Grant offers supplemental funding for local health departments including health departments of local governments towards COVID-19 vaccination programs; and WHEREAS, the Vaccination Grant was initially for $50,000 to the Township of West Orange (the “Township”) and has now been extended for a second year with an additional $50,000; and WHEREAS, the Township submitted an application for the Vaccination Grant and is awaiting final and formal award of the Vaccination Grant; and WHEREAS, the Township seeks to utilize a portion of the awarded Vaccination Grant funds by retaining Montclair State University’s School of Nursing faculty and students to provide vaccine administration and other support services pursuant to a Professional Services Agreement, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” (the “Agreement”); and WHEREAS, the Agreement was for an initial term of one (1) year at $26,000 and is now extended until June 30, 2023 at an additional $26,000. NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, that the Township be and is hereby authorized to retain Montclair State University to provide vaccine administration and other support services; and be it further

2 RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Agreement with Montclair State University annexed hereto as Exhibit “A,” and be it further RESOLVED, that the Township Clerk is authorized to attest to the Mayor's signature; and be it further RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall be made available in the Township Clerk’s Office for reasonable inspection in accordance with applicable law.
