155-22 June 14, 2022 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange proposes improvements to Fire House No. 3 at 93 Ridgeway Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Township requires the services of a Professional Engineering Firm to analyze and conduct a field investigation to determine the site features that will impact or constrain the replacement of the existing timber wall, to prepare a design for a new retaining wall including the preparation of plans and specifications for the project and to provide construction support at Fire Station No. 3 for this project; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer requested a Proposal for Engineering Services from Frank H. Lehr Associates for these professional engineering services; and WHEREAS, Frank H. Lehr of East Orange, NJ responded to the request; and WHEREAS, Frank H. Lehr of East Orange, New Jersey submitted a proposal dated June 1, 2022 to provide professional services for improvements and upgrades to Fire Station No. 3 on Ridgway Avenue, for a fee not to exceed $18,400.00; and WHEREAS, by letter dated June 8, 2022, the proposal of Frank H. Lehr is acceptable to the Municipal Engineer; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist for this work; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Township be and hereby authorized to enter into a Professional Services Contract with Frank H. Lehr, 101 South Harrison Street, East Orange, NJ 07018 to provide

professional services for the retaining wall improvements of Fire House No. 3 for a fee of $18,400.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be published in the West Orange Chronicle within 10 days of approval in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(i).
