159-22 June 14, 2022 RESOLUTION APPROVING A 10-YEAR RE-0RGANIZATION PLAN IN THE 2022 BUDGET WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange Administration recommended a 6-year re- organization plan in the 2022 Mayor’s Recommended Budget; and WHEREAS, the West Orange Township Council rejected the proposal; and WHEREAS, certain members of the Township Council suggested alternatives that might make the re-organization plan acceptable; and WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange Administration revised the plan to be implemented over at 10-year period instead of 6-years; and WHEREAS, the 10-year re-organization plan’s budgetary impact to the 2022 Budget would be $43,150.00, 23,308.68 less than the proposed 6-year re-organization plan; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the West Orange Township Council hereby approves the inclusion of the Ten-Year Re-Organization Plan into the 2022 Budget for introduction with an offsetting revenue from fund balance.
