160-22 June 14, 2022 RESOLUTION REINSTATING THE MAYOR’S RECOMMENDATION TO FUND THE POSITION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HOUSING AUTHORITY/PLANNING & BUILDING COORDINATOR WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange Administration recommended funding the position of Executive Director Housing Authority/Planning & Building Coordinator with the elimination of the funding for the position of Tenant Relations Assistant/HUD Executive Director in the 2022 Mayor’s Recommended Budget; and WHEREAS, the West Orange Township Council rejected the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange Administration has requested West Orange Township Council to reconsider the matter which the Administration believes is vital to manage the day-to-day affairs of the affected divisions; and THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the West Orange Township Council hereby reinstate the funding for the position of Executive Director Housing Authority/Planning & Building Coordinator and eliminates the funding for the position of Tenant Relations Assistant/HUD Executive Director in the net amount of $7,233.74 into the 2022 Budget for introduction with an offsetting revenue from fund balance.
