693-22 June 28, 2022 RESOLUTION OF THE WEST ORANGE TOWNSHIP ABC BOARD RESOLUTION RESCINDING IN PART ABC RESOLUTION NO. 687-22, REMOVING LICENSEE # 0722-36-075-001, SUN DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT CORP., AS A LICENSEE APPROVED FOR RENEWAL FOR THE 2022-2023 LICENSE TERM FOR FAILURE TO OBTAIN TAX CLEARANCE WHEREAS, on June 14, 2022, the Clerk of the West Orange ABC Board, believing that NJ ABC Licensee #0722-36-075-001, Sun Development & Management Corp.t/a Cambria Suites Hotel, was qualified for renewal of said License for the 2022-2023 License Term, according to her records having applied and paid all fees due for renewal of those Licenses and believing all other requirements to have been met as well; and WHEREAS, that License was therefore included with others on West Orange Township ABC Board Resolution No. 687-22, adopted by the ABC Board at its regular meeting on June 14, 2022, renewing for the 2022-2023 License Term those Licensees named in it; and WHEREAS, the Clerk having realized the licensee failed in fact to qualify for renewal in that the Licensee neglected to obtain tax clearance for the 2022-23 renewal period, such failures and deficiencies requiring rescission of the Township’s annual approval for the 2022-2023 License Term; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, SITTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS THE WEST ORANGE TOWNSHIP ABC BOARD, that the portion of West Orange Township ABC Resolution No. 687-22, listing License #0722-36-075-001, Sun Development & Management Corp.t/a Cambria Suites Hotel, as qualified for renewal and renewing said License for the 2022-2023 License Term, is to that extent and that extent only, hereby rescinded, excising that Licensee from the list of those which were to be renewed for that License term, all in accordance with instructions received by and on behalf of the New Jersey ABC Licensing Bureau. ____________________________________ __________________________________ Karen J.
